How we write and review what we publish

At ExpressFormations we understand that our readers use our content to make important decisions about their businesses. That's why each article goes through a process designed to make it clear, accurate and useful.

Our process in three steps

From the idea of an article to the moment it reaches the blog, we go through these three stages.

01

Written by those who live the day-to-day

The articles are written by the ExpressFormations team: the same people who accompany entrepreneurs every week as they open their LLCs, manage their EINs, resolve questions with banks and organize their annual compliance. That makes our content practical, not theoretical.

02

Reviewed by our editorial team

Before publishing, each article goes through an internal second read. We check that the content is clear, that the explanations are understandable for someone unfamiliar with the US system, and that the structure helps the reader find what they're looking for quickly.

03

Cross-checked against official sources

Each sensitive data point — deadlines, amounts, forms, obligations — is cross-checked against the original sources: the IRS, FinCEN, the Department of the Treasury and the relevant Secretaries of State. When an official source changes, we update the article.

We keep content up to date

US tax regulations change often. When a change affects a published article, we update it and record the last-reviewed date. If the change is important, we add a note at the start so it doesn't go unnoticed.

If you find an error, let us know

Nobody is perfect. If you spot something that no longer reflects reality or a data point that should be corrected, write to us at hello@expressformations.us with the link to the article. We will review it and, if appropriate, correct it.

Our content is informational, not personalized advice

ExpressFormations articles are general-purpose informational content. They don't replace advice from a licensed professional familiar with your specific situation. For help tailored to your case, our Pro and Enterprise plans include consulting with our team, or you can always consult a licensed CPA or attorney.
